Messages & enquiries
Submitting an enquiry form sends the details you enter to the website’s server to handle your request. Chat sends your message and relevant conversation history to the configured AI service to generate a reply.
Contact details are used to respond to your request. If you email directly, your email provider and the receiving service handle delivery.
Signing up for the newsletter sends your email address directly to Mailchimp to manage your subscription and send updates about my work. You join after confirming your email address. Use the unsubscribe link in any newsletter to leave the list. Mailchimp processes signup and delivery information under its privacy statement.
On your device
Drafts, conversation history and some choices are saved in your browser so you can return to them. Use the page’s clear controls or your browser’s site-data settings to remove local records.
Copy actions place the chosen text on your device’s clipboard.
Optional analytics
Google Analytics is off until you allow it here. If you choose to allow it, Google receives page visits and accepted enquiry counts to help understand how this website is used. Your browser’s Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control preference keeps it off.
Google Analytics: Off
Analytics excludes your name, email, phone number, enquiry text and request reference. Page addresses exclude query strings and fragments; referring websites are reduced to their origin. Google may process connection and device information and set first-party analytics cookies for up to 90 days. Advertising features are disabled. You can withdraw consent here; this clears the website’s Google Analytics cookies. See Google’s privacy policy.
Optional Consultancy analytics are currently off. No usage events are sent to PostHog.
Analytics details
Consultancy page metrics are off by default. If you allow them through Page analytics, the page sends usage events to PostHog. You can turn them off through the same control. Your browser’s Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control preference keeps them off.
These events include a random visit identifier, the page version, selected service, form steps, error categories and an accepted request’s reference. Your name, email address, phone number, note, full URL and referrer are excluded. The visit identifier stays in memory; only your analytics choice is saved in local storage. No session recording or automatic form capture is enabled.
These optional metrics are separate from sending an enquiry. A callback request sends the details you reviewed to this website’s enquiry service for Shehryar to respond. Its unsent draft is kept in your browser’s session storage. Preview events are labelled for review and excluded from live experiment results.
Other websites & services
Hosting and security services may process connection information, such as your IP address and browser details, to deliver and protect the site.
Bookstores, game stores and other linked websites have their own privacy practices. Information you provide there is handled by that service.
